Industrial Emissions and Pollution Control
Seeds' expertise on environmental policy supports EU policy development. We perform environmental and economic evaluations, impact studies, and compliance assessments. We analyse industrial emissions and efficiency data, offering technical guidance and reporting, as well as engaging stakeholders to ensure effective policy alignment.
- Policy development and compliance: Supporting the evaluation, implementation, and revision of EU environmental policies, including the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and the Industrial Emissions Portal.
- Impact assessments and technical studies: Carrying out environmental and economic evaluations of regulatory changes, including for the implementation of BAT conclusions (BAT-AELs, performance levels, benchmarks).
- Data collection and analysis: Gathering and analysing sectoral data on emissions, resource efficiency, and pollution prevention to support decision-making at the EU and national levels.
- Technical guidance and reporting: Developing guidance documents, monitoring reports, and compliance tools to help industries and policymakers adapt to regulations.
- Stakeholder engagement: Coordinating participation in regulatory discussions to ensure effective policy advocacy and alignment with technical requirements.
